Explore the endless possibilities of working with a copper plate using BIG non-toxic ground. We will investigate hard and soft ground, as well as dry-point. You will develop one plate, and learn to print using the etching press. Come with imagery you hope to work with!  All other materials will be provided.

Brooke Inman is adjunct faculty at the University of Richmond in the Department of Art + Art History, and at Virginia Commonwealth University in the Painting + Printmaking Department. She also teaches printmaking in the Richmond community at Studio Two Three. Specializing in intaglio, screen printing, zine-making, drawing, and color, Brooke received her BFA in Printmaking from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2006, and her MFA in Painting + Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008.
