Beloved poet Mary Oliver speaks of always carrying a small hand-sewn notebook in her back pocket and recommends the habit to others. Workshop participants will learn how to assemble and stitch small notebooks to carry with you, and make a trove for your rambles. This is a wonderful class for writers, makers, the curious, and notemakers of all varieties. No experience necessary; all levels are welcome.
Under the moniker Blue Skies Workroom, ALYSSA SALOMON designs, prints and makes home textiles, books, stationery and other delights for everyday living. In addition to having a studio and teaching here at Studio Two Three, Alyssa served as 2017/2018 Artist-in-Residence at VCU School of Business.
