Make bright, colorful, text-based prints inspired by '60s pop artist and activist Sister Corita Kent who, as a Catholic nun, taught art for 30 years in LA before leaving the order to make art full time. This year would have been her 100th birthday. To celebrate Corita, we will use ink and brushes, free form letter cut outs and collage to make posters with messages of love, change and personal manifestos.
