Learn a variety of ways of working with the image transfer process to transform copies of photographs, drawings, or other imagery into transparent layers within your art.  Experiment with combining image transfers with collage, printmaking, and painting.

BLYTHE KING is a rising talent who currently breaks new ground in photography, collage, and the ancient art of gold leafing. She has exhibited in six U.S. states plus the District of Columbia. Born in Pittsburgh, her work is heavily influenced by two legacies — the whimsical, social commentary of hometown hero Andy Warhol forged with traditional Steel Town resolve. Her latest work opens a fresh discourse around women’s issues. King teaches creativity to underserved communities in Richmond.
