STUDIO TWO THREE EVENT COORDINATOR

Studio Two Three is hiring a part-time Event Coordinator to handle our private event rentals. The Event Coordinator will give tours to prospective clients, coordinate the calendar of events, handle client invoicing and billing, and manage event logistics.  As the primary point of contact for the private event rentals, the Event Coordinator will work with wedding coordinators, business owners, other nonprofits, and community members.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has experience in customer service, including the hospitality, retail or service industries

  • Is comfortable in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

  • Is self-motivated and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team

  • Is committed to advancing Studio Two Three’s mission within the community

  • Has experience with Square invoicing and POS

  • Is highly organized

  • Has excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Has a flexible schedule

  • Has prior knowledge of printmaking or a desire to learn the process

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with Studio Two Three staff to manage events calendar

  • Schedules and gives on site tours of space

  • Coordinates cleaning and maintenance of event space as needed

  • Manages event rental contracts, billing and invoicing

  • Maintains current information for private event rentals on web, print and social

  • Handles private event logistics with clients (lead up, day of and follow up)

  • Alerts Studio Two Three staff of any event space upkeep needs

Hours and Compensation: The Event Coordinator position is a part time position, working 15-20 hours a week depending on tours and events. The position will be compensated at $15/hour with opportunity to pick up additional hourly work teaching workshops, helping with special events and other needs as requested.
