SAD PROM: DANCING IN THE DEEPEST OCEANS
Come dance with us at SAD PROM on Saturday March 14th from 8-11pm!!
Last year we invited you to dance the pain away after we lost a substantial amount of federal funding under Trump-era cuts.
This year is no different! Rather than depending on the federal government to support our work, we're taking matters into our own hands (with a very sparkly, underwater-themed Sad Prom).
Just by showing up and dancing the night away, you'll help us keep our doors open, our event space free to over 50 local orgs, and our artist membership affordable & accessible.
All ticket sales & bar proceeds make up for lost federal funding (sexy, right?)
Come dance late! Bring a date! Wear something shiny, sea-like, buoyant, sparkly! We highly encourage arriving in a limo, wearing taffeta, and breaking curfews.
Sad prom & 80s jams spun til late by DJ Infinite Repeats!
Specialty cocktails courtesy of our friends at Salt & Acid Bartending & Virago Spirits!
Delicious beer thanks to Bingo Beer Company!
Food from 1115 Mobile Kitchen!
A Polaroid photo booth with Big Day Polaroids!
Tickets are sliding scale $25-$100! We highly recommend grabbing your tickets early–– last year sold out!
Sponsorships are $500 and come with 10 prom tickets (for you to use or give away), a limited edition poster, sponsorship listing at prom, and big gratitude! Sponsorships are fully tax-deductible.
