Today we’re going to share some helpful mental health resources:

THERAPY

Online and text therapy are becoming more and more common. In the age of coronavirus, this service is almost necessary. While it isn’t a complete replacement for in person therapy, it can help depending on your situation. Here are some places you can find help:

    Betterhelp.com

    • With BetterHelp, you can choose a counselor who fits your objectives, preferences, and the type of issues you are dealing with. Sessions can be texts, chatting live, talking on the phone, or video conferencing. Pricing ranges from $40 to $70 per month. You can cancel at any time.

  • Regain
    Regain.us

    • Regain is an online relationship counseling service that can be helpful as we find ourselves spending more time with our partners. Two users share a joint account with which they can communicate with a counselor, and private sessions can also be scheduled. Pricing ranges from $40 to $70 per month. You can cancel at any time.

  • Therapy for Black Girls
    Therapyforblackgirls.com

    • Dr. Joy Harden Bradford is a licensed psychologist, speaker, and the host of the mental health podcast, Therapy for Black Girls. The site is a platform for Black women to find more accessible and relevant resources and help. You can find a therapist, join the community, and find more resources on their instagram. 

INSTAGRAM RESOURCES

Online help can look like doing a detox of your social media. Everything on your phone is trying to grab your attention. It is useful to every now and again, asses the value of what you are consuming, and remove whatever is not serving you. Here are some accounts on Instagram that provide some helpful information in chunks (again, we encourage you to do your own research, these are accounts we’ve found helpful, feel free to mention additional account in the comments!):

SLOW DOWN
