Visiting Artist Residency

Our Visiting Artist Residency provides artists with free, short-term access to Studio Two Three to create work in screen printing, letterpress, risography, monoprinting, and black and white photography. Artists can choose between 1-week, 2-week, 3-week and 1-month sessions.

Artist residents have 24/7 access to our community print shop and must be self-directed in their work.  Artists should plan on providing their own ink, paper, emulsion, and plates. Artists outside of Richmond are encouraged to apply, but must make their own arrangements for housing during their residency. This is a self-directed residency for artists experienced in print media. Artists looking for technical support can schedule one-on-one workshops with Studio Two Three instructors at a rate of $30/hour.

Participating artists are asked to contribute a print to Studio Two Three for our archive and/or fundraising purposes.
