This beginner-friendly Illustrator class will teach you the fundamentals of vector graphics, covering the oh-so-scary interface and workspace, essential tools, and techniques for creating illustrations, logos, and other designs.

Carrie Garrison is a multimedia artist from Knoxville, Tennessee. She graduated with a BFA in graphic design from the University of Tennessee in 2020. During the pandemic, Carrie got her Master’s Degree in Art Education and taught in the public school system as a middle school art teacher for two years. Since relocating to Richmond, Carrie has focused on risograph printing, designing a line of greeting cards for her brand Foolish Designs which has been her small arts business with varying products since 2020.
