Letterpress 102: Polymer Plate
Wednesday, December 11, 6-9PM
Instructor: Barry O’Keefe
Make anything into a letterpress plate! Photos! Illustrations! Text!
Prepare two 3”x3” black and white designs, and we’ll prepare files together, print inverted transparencies, make plates, and print a small edition of each!
The plates we use (KF95) can hold fine lines as small as .25pt and dots as small as 1 pt thick.
For members, this class doubles as an orientation that allows you to use the polymer plate maker independently.
Our antique type and image collection is awesome, but very finite! With polymer plates - it becomes infinite!
